For the price, our testers found the Phylian Sonic Electric Toothbrush to be simple to use, highly functional, and effective at cleaning their teeth, all at a fraction of the cost of comparable Oral-B and Philips Sonicare options. With the AquaSonic Vibe Series Ultra Whitening Toothbrush, you get the most bang for your buck. Our tester brushed their teeth for two minutes and discovered that the toothbrush was effective at cleaning their teeth even after eating sticky snacks that became stuck in the deepest corners of her teeth.

Why We Like It: It’s easy to use, cleans teeth thoroughly, and comes with a portable charging stand.
It’s Worth Noting: Since the bristles are stiffer, this toothbrush would be best suited for people with little to no teeth sensitivity.
The Philips 4100 is the most affordable toothbrush in the Sonicare rechargeable line, and it has all of the features you need to keep your teeth clean. According to one tester, the toothbrush thoroughly cleans your teeth by pulsing and moving side to side. Our tester was also impressed by the 4100’s high-quality feel and how easy it was to use thanks to its ergonomic design.
The toothbrush received a 4 or 5 in all categories, including overall quality and value. One tester thought the price was very reasonable, especially given how portable the toothbrush was.

Using sensors, the toothbrush recognizes your brushing style and alerts our tester when she is brushing too hard or scrubbing her teeth (the brush will pulse a light and vibrate once, quickly). The bristles are longer, allowing you to reach difficult-to-reach areas, and it comes with a portable leather charging case for on-the-go use.
Our tester gave the brush a 5 out of 5 because it was simple to use. Not only was it simple to turn on and begin brushing, but you can also adjust the intensity levels with the push of a button or via the app. While the app isn’t required to use the toothbrush, it does allow you to learn more about your brushing habits, experiment with brush settings, and change your brushing time.
In terms of overall quality, the Prestige 9900 has few competitors. It comes with a stylish leather travel case that can charge the toothbrush and a separate charging stand with its own cord. If color is important to you, the colors champagne, midnight, and pink are lovely. And, in a particularly nice design touch, the brush handle is seamless (which means no liquid or toothpaste mixed with saliva will get stuck in any crevices).
The most significant disadvantage is the cost. We were disappointed that this brush only came with one brush head (especially since two replacement brush heads cost about $30 for the pair, which is definitely on the high end of what you’ll pay for replacement heads). The price tag may be worth it if you want a luxury toothbrush and will use all of the extra features (the majority of which are housed in the app).
